Simon King

Drawn by his passion for wildlife, Simon King fell in love with Shetland. For a year he watched the vast colonies of seabirds, tracked a killer whale and smiled as otters played amongst the rocks of the shoreline. It was also a return to a place of boyhood dreams as Simon brought his family with him and made a BBC TV series. The Shetland Diaries is a beautifully made record of life on the islands of the farthest north of Britain. And Simon's eloquence and delight make his experiences come vividly alive.
