Shepherd House in Inveresk has been the home of Sir Charles & Lady Ann Fraser since 1957 – during that time the couple have lovingly transformed their garden from a children’s playground to one of the most stunning small gardens in Scotland; there was no formal plan for the garden, no garden designer to shape it, just the hard work of the Frasers for over 50 years!
The Frasers have recently published a spectacular coffee table book which contains stunning photography of the garden, along with Ann’s gracious water colour plant portraits.
Their illustrated talk will tell how they created their magical garden and there is bound to be time for some questions and tips. Their book will be available in our festival book shop.
